How it’s landing…
-
“The Bubble Chronicles is WONDERFUL - really nice job taking the evidence and making it accessible to all audiences. It will be a great addition to the toolbox of many professionals.”
Dr. Sandra M. Chafouleas
University of Connecticut Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor, Neag Professor of School Psychology, Co-Director UConn Collaboratory on School and Child Health (CSCH)
-
"The Bubble Chronicles provides a thoughtful and empowering way for children to map their sensory experiences and better understand their inner world. I highly recommend it as a developmentally appropriate approach to building self-awareness and emotional regulation through doing, not just talking."
Sarah Sawyer Occupational Therapist & Clinical Director at OTA The Koomar Center, President of the Board of the SPIRAL Foundation (Sensory Processing Institute of Research and Learning), Co-Author of the Parent/Caregiver Support of Children’s Playfulness (PC-SCP) assessment
-
"The Bubble Chronicles is a sorely needed resource in today’s schools. Having been a teacher, principal, director of student services, assistant superintendent, and now the president of a training and consulting company that works in over 150 school districts, this course fills a gap in the present programs used to support children in our schools. Many students lack the skills taught in this course and this creates a block to their academic growth and social-emotional development."
Dr. William B. Ribas President, Ribas Associates and Publications, Inc., Author of Social Emotional Learning in the Classroom, Social-Emotional Learning in the Home (both endorsed on the CASEL website), and Instructional Practices That Maximize Student Achievement.
Is The Bubble Chronicles a story, curriculum, or program?
So glad you asked. It’s a little bit of all of them…
The Bubble Chronicles is a four-part course that unpacks the details of how our world communicates with us and how we, in turn, communicate with ourselves.
The course workbook is best used as a visual teaching aid for social and emotional health educators, where every sentence invites a conversation, bubbles tell the story, and each story is your own.
It’s designed to complement any social and emotional learning program or curriculum by adding a new layer of conversation… or stand on its own as a playful learning experience you can share and explore together.
Courses are for adults and THIS IS A COURSE FOR KIDS…so we are calling The Bubble Chronicles a Courseling.

Introducing
the Bubble
Chronicles
A world where complex concepts like Psychological Distancing, Core Values, Integrative Complexity, and Cognitive Reappraisal become simple: Bubbles & Buttons, WARM (What Actually Really Matters), Mapping, and Think Again.
Expanding the traditional array of comic bubbles, The Bubble Chronicles is presented as a four-part scaffolded series that helps children see both the whole picture and the smaller pieces that make it up.
It encourages the kind of thinking that notices differences, finds connections, and brings perspectives together creatively.
Actual bubbles serve as a guiding metaphor, grounded in their real, observable scientific properties.
